// indie developer studio

Crafting average apps
with above-average
engineering.

One developer. Zero investors. Questionable sleep schedule. Building apps and games that actually work (does it?) — not just look good in a pitch deck (do you know anyone who has one?).

Solo mission. Real engineering.

KovelikApps is a one-person indie studio run by a software engineer with 8+ years of professional experience and an engineering degree. The kind of person who optimizes database queries for fun and thinks "good enough" is never good enough. Except for the name. The name is perfect.

Engineering-first approach

Every architectural decision is backed by real production experience. Performance profiling, memory optimization, proper error handling — the boring stuff that keeps your app from crashing at 2 AM.

Indie means independent

No publishers. No committees. No "let's circle back on that." Just one engineer making decisions at the speed of caffeine. Apps and games built with passion, shipped with anxiety.

Ambitious roadmap

Plans are big. Resources are... developing. Think of it as an early-stage civilization — the blueprints are there, we just need more minerals. And vespene gas. Definitely more vespene gas.

Apps & Games

Mobile apps for everyday life. Games for not-so-everyday escapism. All built on the principle that users deserve software that respects their time, data, and intelligence. Revolutionary concept, apparently.

What's in the pipeline

Two projects. One pair of hands. An unreasonable amount of coffee. Here's what's coming.

Coming very soon

Cookojo

Cooking · Shopping · Recipes

A cooking companion that doesn't assume you have 47 spices and a sous vide machine. Smart shopping lists, practical recipes, and a kitchen workflow that actually makes sense.

More details dropping soon. Stay tuned.

Something sharp is coming. That's all we can say for now — except that it involves a custom game engine, too much ambition for one person, and absolutely zero loot boxes.

More info when we're ready. Which is... not yet.

Full transparency. Because why not.

Here's the deal. KovelikApps is one developer with limited time, limited funds, and a friends list that could use some growth.

The backend — APIs, architecture, data layer, performance optimization — that's 90% handcrafted by a real human engineer who genuinely enjoys arguing with compilers.

The UI/UX — look, designing pretty screens is an art form, and sometimes this engineer calls in AI reinforcements. It's not cheating. It's resource allocation. The pixels still end up in the right place.

So if you spot a button that's suspiciously well-aligned, now you know. Don't blame the developer. Blame the future.

We must construct additional pylons. But for now, we ship what we can.
